i had an appointment at the eye doctor today (20/40 in my left eye, 20/20 in my right, but that's irrelevant). so, i was sitting in the waiting room with my dad for about forty-five minutes. about thirty minutes into this wait, a lady who looked to be about 65-70 years old who had been sitting with her husband across from me the entire time randomly springs up and makes her way over to me. i thought it was to get a magazine. little did i know that i was about to be...

CONVERTED!

that's right, get jealous. this is what happens when you live and love in virginia. she pulls out this SWEET mini comic book and hands it to me. i had no idea what it was, so i took it. after it's in my hands, she pulls the trigger - "here, this is a little story about jesus, and it includes how to become a christian if you aren't already." she promptly moves on to the next person, my dad (who is also an atheist) and says the same thing. she proceeded to hand one to every person in the room. one lady looked at it for about half a minute before handing it back, saying "i don't have time to read. i'm a hairdresser. but thank you anyway."
i have decided to share this powerful story that she gave me in hopes that you, too, will find Him and allow a little salvation into your life. i know it has made a world of difference to me.
